We have taken all that can be done to ensure Elections Integrity, safety, reliable elections in all its stages.
- The electrovoting system uses a secure internet protocol that maintains all types of data, encrypted and secure during transactions and communication between computers, mobile phones, and the server.
- All unsafe technologies that can be used for fraud or forgery have been excluded.
- The process of logging into the system is protected by the same procedures followed in electronic banking transactions.
- The system operates within the country and is not permitted to enter globally.
- The security system monitors any suspicious or unusual behavior towards the system and blocks the connection of the party that performs this behavior with the availability of the reports recorded by the system knowing that all access and browsing operations are recorded by day, hour, minute, and second with complete information such as the IP of the Internet provider, the type of device, OS, screen size, etc.
- The system is designed to consider the state’s regulations, the applicable election laws, and the internal regulations of each institution.
- The vote is secret, and no one can know which candidate the voter voted for except for the voter himself. The system has been designed so that even the system’s programmers themselves cannot know this.
- Site administrators cannot vote for a voter and cannot change their choices.
- The system allows the entry of observers from the official authorities to monitor the conduct and validity of the elections and to prove Elections Integrity.
Why a text message and not an email?
E-mail is not considered a correct and safe way to conduct the election process due to the most important reasons:
- E-mail can be configured to impersonate the sender, and e-mails can be forged easily.
- Email access can be disrupted or delayed.
- Some servers are blocked by the security software.
- Many e-mail reception services stop when many e-mails are sent simultaneously.
- Many unexpected problems could arise on e-mail servers at the wrong times. Therefore, e-mail was excluded in the voting process and in all stages of the electoral process, and a text messaging system was adopted, which is safer, more reliable, and faster.
